Take on the AJ Bell Great Scottish Run for the NSPCC
Every year, Glasgow welcomes 30,000 runners for the Great Scottish Run. Enjoy a course that weaves through Scotland’s largest city - choose from either a 10k or a half marathon!
With a city centre start and finish, your route will take you on a tour of the impressive city. Take in the incredible local architecture, history, and culture - all while challenging your physical limits!
Plus, with every step you take, you’ll be helping the NSPCC change children’s lives.

Personalised NSPCC goodies and fundraising support
As part of #TeamNSPCC, you’ll receive a welcome pack to get you started.
This pack will include fundraising tips and materials as well your own personalisable NSPCC running vest. You'll also receive access to dedicated support from our events team - including fundraising advice!
Training support and preparation
Our training partners, Full Potential will be on hand to support you every step of the way. They'll provide training tips, injury advice and a plan for race day.
They’ll even create a tailored training plan just for you! This should make it easier for you to smash your goals on race day.

Our expert trainers Full Potential are with you every step of the way on your running journey.
You'll receive:
- a training plan tailored to your experience, fitness and goals
- access to real coaches, who you can email or call for advice or reassurance
- training days where you come together with coaches and other participants
- access to the #TeamNSPCC Facebook group and #TeamNSPCC Strava group to help you keep in touch with your teammates.

The Great Scottish Run takes place on Sunday 06 October 2024 in Glasgow. The deadline to sign up with the NSPCC is Friday 27th September 2024.
Registration for any of The Great Scottish Run distances is just £10. We also ask that you raise at least £150 for the 10k, and £250 for the half marathon. The money you raise allows us to continue our crucial work, and helps us keep children safe.
